THE DESIGNER
adelà is an independent fashion label founded by Melbourne-based designer Adele Adams.
Originally developed through her graduate collection, ‘Feminine Fantasies’, the label explores femininity through distortion, tension and transformation. Drawing from themes of beauty, body modification and idealised feminine forms, Adele creates garments that blur the line between fashion, sculpture and art.
Each piece begins through a hands-on process of draping, shirring, manipulation and experimentation, resulting in silhouettes that challenge traditional notions of beauty while remaining deeply feminine.
Today, adelà exists as an ongoing exploration of form, texture and self-expression through limited collections and carefully considered releases.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Through processes such as shirring, draping and material manipulation, familiar silhouettes are transformed into something unexpected.
Rather than following trends, the label focuses on experimentation, craftsmanship and limited collections produced with intention.
Range 01 marks the first independent release from adelà.
The collection introduces the foundations of the label through four distinct fabric stories and a series of sculptural silhouettes. Each garment has been carefully designed, refined and constructed through an extensive process of experimentation and development.
Produced in limited quantities, Range 01 represents the beginning of an evolving body of work exploring femininity, distortion and material transformation.
